This is the first week of my “Wellness Plan Implementation” and so far so good.

Although I do not find it overly difficult to initially say no to alcohol; After I have given into a drink or two it becomes increasingly more difficult for me to hold just say no… So this week I decided to not drink at all.

But just because I don’t want to drink doesn’t mean that I want to shut myself off from the night life. So my remedy was to become the sober driver!

I do have to say that it was tempting to order a drink when everyone else was indulging, but as the designated sober driver I only let the thought cross over and let it vanish from there. Besides, who wants to miss out on the action of crazy drunk people!
